My Personal Experience with Hair Transplant Surgery at Cheongdam OK Plastic Surgery I am sharing my personal experience regarding my hair transplant at Cheongdam OK Plastic Surgery to help others make a well-informed and wise decision. The Initial Consultation and Promises During my initial consultation, I was explicitly assured that by choosing the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) method, the donor area at the back of my head would only be left with tiny, scattered dot-like marks. My primary reason for choosing the FUE method was to avoid any visible linear scarring and to ensure the donor site remained as inconspicuous as possible. Relying on these explanations and expecting professional results and honest medical care, I proceeded with the surgery on November 2, 2024. The Reality of the Results Unfortunately, the final outcome has been deeply disappointing. Frontal Hairline: The result did not meet my expectations; from my perspective, the design appears very poorly executed and unnatural. Donor Area Scarring: Even more distressing is that the donor area did not heal with the scattered dots I was promised. Instead, I have been left with a prominent, visible linear scar across the back of my head. Since more than a year has passed since the surgery, this cannot be dismissed as a temporary healing issue. This situation has caused me immense stress, a sense of shame, and profound regret. Hospital Response and Current Status I contacted the clinic to raise these issues, requesting that they take responsibility and discuss fair compensation. However, I have not received a satisfactory resolution or any meaningful accountability from them. As a result, I am now forced to seek consultations at other clinics for corrective (revision) surgery, which has placed an additional financial burden on me. My Advice for Prospective Patients If you are considering a procedure at this clinic, please take the following precautions: Get everything in writing: Ensure all verbal promises are documented in a written contract. Ask specific questions: Be extremely thorough when asking about the exact nature of potential scarring in the donor area. Scrutinize the design: Double-check the hairline design plan meticulously before proceeding. Do not rely on verbal assurances: Avoid making a decision based solely on oral explanations provided during the consultation.
